The Americans in the Paris history – Private tour
Program
Starting with the roaring twenties in Montparnasse and Luxembourg, passing through the Beat generation in historic areas such as Odéon and the Quartier Latin, we will finally walk by the Fouding Fathers in St Germain des Prés.
You’ll discover where the american constitution was partly written, how the Stein family became kingmakers among modern painters and writers, the bars where Ernest Hemingway and Francis Scott Fitzgerald used to share drinks, the library that published James Joyce’s Ulysse, the Hotel where Ginsberg or Corso used to stay or the official birthplace of the United States !
But beside this nice walk back in time, share a drink and your experiences with us in one of the most inspiring place for young English speaking artists and authors in Europe, the famous Shakespeare & Co bookstore and its café.
